RECORDING

A comfortable environment & top quality equipment ensures the best conditions to capture your sound. Air-conditioned studio rooms & subdued lighting provide a calm & creative space for you to work on your project with no distractions. An Allen & Heath Qu-32 gives up to 32 channels of simultaneous recording & our wide collection of microphones, including Neumann, AKG & Shure, ensure we capture the performance with clarity and precision.

MIXING

A high specification Apple Mac Pro running Logic Pro X & Reason can cater to all types of recording project & our wide range of plug-ins, instruments (real & virtual!) will ensure your mix sounds how you want it

MASTERING

Get your tracks broadcast or distribution ready with our inhouse mastering service.

PRICING

RECORDING:
The studio is open from 10am to 6pm Monday to Saturday when the studio rate is £37.50 per hour.
Evenings & Sundays can be booked by arrangement & can cost a little more (please enquire for details).
Please call to discuss your recording project & we can work out a package price to suit your budget.
All studio prices quoted are for sessions of 2 hours or more, single hour sessions are £50

MIXING:
All mixing sessions are unattended.
We will make a set of initial mixes for you to appraise at your leisure.
You can then provide us with a list of mix revisions for each song & we will amend the mixes until you are happy with the end result..
Pricing is dependent on the complexity of the arrangement & the number of songs in the session,

Our lovely vocal room is a comfortable, air conditioned space where you can enter your own world & let your creativity free. Our recording engineer will guide you through your session, whether you are singing to backing tracks or recording your podcast or audio book.

VOCAL SESSIONS ARE FOR EVERYONE

Whether you are a seasoned professional, budding amateur, or simply like to sing in the shower, we can provide the right environment for you to get the best out of your session & walk away with a great result on CD or digital download.

If you have already got a track you’re working on & want to get those vocal overdubs down, or sing along to your favourite songs we can help.

We can source backing tracks to the songs you want to sing and send them to you before your session, so you are rehearsed & ready to go when you get here. Our recording engineer be here to help you get the best out of the session and walk away with a great memento of your day.

Recording binaural audio is also available at Studio 6 Music, using “Basil Harris” a binaural head.

This is ideal for immersive audio & AMSR recordings

What a fantastic day. I went with my son Paul and his girlfriend Lisa. Paul bought me the recording session as part of my birthday/Xmas present. Michael made us very welcome and relaxed and was very good in his explanation of what was going to happen and how things worked. He has the absolute patience of a saint! I'm nearly 61 and will never be a superstar but Michael certainly made me feel like one. I came away with the cd of me singing as a momento of a wonderfully memorable time. Thank you so much.
